A major win for the Dream Team

1 Mar 08

Daydream Education, the producer of attention grabbing educational wall charts and supporting eLearning resources was revealed to be the winner of the ‘Supplier of the Year: Between £1million and £3million turnover’ category at the prestigious Education Resource Awards.

The Education Resources Awards winners were announced at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham. The Awards, coinciding with the Education Show and now celebrating its tenth consecutive year, mark high quality and innovative educational resources as well as successful and dedicated educational suppliers. All winners were selected by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals, including a large contingency of teachers.

As well as providing for educational establishments on a day to day basis with a range of colourful wall charts and interactive solutions, Daydream also works closely with Save the Children and BookAid to provide as many varied educational materials as possible to those who have little or nothing at all. Since its foundation, Daydream education has been responsible for donating over 14,000 revision booklets and 7,000 wall charts to communities in 13 countries.

Daydream Education is also a keen contributor to the fight against bullying through the use of its educational resources. Its series of wall charts cover Bullying related topics including, ‘Bullying – The Facts’ and ‘Bullying – The Myths’.

Chris Malcolm, CEO, Daydream Education commented: "We have spent many years sparking the curiosity in pupils with these vibrant wall charts and dynamic interactive e-learning applications. As the majority of the judging panel are teachers, we are particularly pleased to be recognised for the quality and effectiveness of our learning solutions."
